Rose is going to try to find out as much as possible about all of these things because she's a curious person and wants to know. Mostly this memory just makes Rose more curious about her home world. I don't think, with the assurance that they apparently do figure out something that's not suicide (she assumes), that she will be waiting to take her memories after this. She is too curious about what happened to do that any more, save if something bad happens.
