SO BASICALLY: John is throwing a tantrum and Rose is trying to get him to do things to advance the game, but he's not listening. So she just hits him in the head with a box until it gets boring, takes some sass from her dead cat about being mean to her teammates, and then proceeds to help John out with the game until he realizes that he's being dumb. Then they have a short conversation:
TT: John, whenever you read this, you should know I put the shale you collected to use and finally deployed the Punch Designix.
TT: It is in your study.
TT: I can only drop it though. You'll have to be the one to mess around with it and see what it does.
TT: When you're finished with your weird histrionics, maybe you could give it a try?
TT: I'm updating my walkthrough, and it would help to know what it does.
TT: Also, I should probably warn you that your house and yard are completely infested with monsters now. Try to be careful.
EB: so i can see.
EB: stupid lousy imps.
EB: they're mucking up all my cool stuff!
TT: Oh, there you are.
EB: oh, yeah.
EB: sorry!
EB: i'm not sure what came over me there, i was acting really crazy for some reason.
EB: but my head feels like it's clearing up, i think i'm alright now.

Nepeta pesters Rose asking to talk to her sprite, Jaspers. Rose calls him up, they have a really cute, heartwarming conversation where they talk about how much they loved each other and then go their separate ways. Rose doesn't seem to feel bad at all that she hasn't completed her personal quest, but then, she has more important things to worry about.

WOW THIS IS AN IMPORTANT MEMORY.
Let's start with Dave's dream -- we learn that he's been dreaming of his death for at least several months, if not years: we know this because he's wearing Bro's shades, which means he hasn't received his 13th birthday present yet (making he and Rose both 12 or younger). But this is actually a dream bubble, and Rose is trying to distract him from the real truth, which he's slowly putting together.
Dave died because Jade accidentally shot him (just like he had planned) -- and woke up on Derse to find his sister also awake there because of a crazy freak mindfuck accident. They begin planning to finish off the session (and Doc Scratch) by taking the bomb, which has been delivered by Liv Tyler the robot bunny, to the furthest ring and detonating it. They receive a magical sword OUT OF NOWHERE!!! like a gigantic godsend (it's actually sent by Davesprite and Jadesprite, but they don't know this). Dave cuts the little meteorite part off of Derse and thinks that he and Rose have decided that he's going to be the one to take the suicide mission.
But then Rose knocks him out with a ball of string (classic!!) and flies off without him. Dave then dreams about her in this dream bubble, where we recount all of this stuff that just happened, and Rose admits that she's a little scared and lonely as she flies to her doom. But before any more emotional stuff can happen, the Draconian Dignitary shows up and attempts to stab them!! Rose flashsteps out of the way, but Dave isn't so lucky -- he wakes up from his dream and realizes he needs to help Rose. So he flies off of Derse, towards the little meteorite as it sails away through the sky.
Effects;
- 50 Guilt over a suicide mission because obviously it must be pretty important if they argued about it.
+ 10 Sly cunning ability to knock people out using yarn.
+ 10 Desire to protect everyone by sacrificing herself first.
+ HOPEFULLY this will also trigger a start towards a more serious, mature Rose that we see later in the comic (basically from this point forward) in Aather, as this is a big step towards going home and is a milestone for things that have yet to be remembered: grimdarkness and god tier especially.
