Jaina thinks Rose is an intelligent young woman. She's honestly a little unsure how to approach her because Jaina's first trauma game had her push a button to torture Lelouch and she ended up watching. So there's still some of her own Peridot guilt.

Anyway! Rose seems nice, and Jaina would love to get to know her more. Like most kids that have positive impressions, she does kind of want to look out for Rose, because that's...what she does! Rose is nice, she shouldn't have to deal with watching others painfully revive, or suffer that herself, etc. Which actually helped her keep from freezing up after Jabberwock's game, because it gave her something she needed to focus on: can't freeze up, Rose is right there and looking miserable, there are others that need worried about.
