This is for Daisy/Rose Lalonde who has ascended past the 3k mark and Arya Stark who last night during the event hit 1,048 comments. And it's been awhile since the last one so...

Daisy thinks that Beatrice is super cool and mysterious and given that Rose Lalonde is a character that is all about the secrets she is totally on top of this learning to be just as mysterious as Beatrice business. There's something about Beato that she kind of wants to resemble -- which might be bad but might also be kind of good?

Actually out of all of Peridot Beato is the one that she admires the most, which is a bit scary, but there you go. The others all either intimidate her or seem distant in some way -- and Daisy thinks it might be because she replaced someone they were so close to, even though that was quite awhile ago. Also she is determined to be magical she will eke the magic out of her bones if it kills her. Which it might.

Beatrice has taken Rose on as sort of a replacement Maria, actually; she really loves mentoring those younger than herself and fostering a magical spirit in them while they're still young and idealistic enough to appreciate it. So Rose has worked her way into being one of Beato's favorites, as much as Beato denies having favoritism within Peridot and tries not to show it. (I AM TRYING TO BE A MOTHER FIGURE OKAY!! I LOVE ALL OF MY CHILDREN! which she does.) And Rose seems to be taking a very eager interest in magic!! And this is why she is making half-jokes like encouraging Daisy along the path of the Confectionery Witch, because she wants her to find a "specialty" so that she can craft her tutoring to that end and foster Daisy's inherent abilities, as it were. By Beato's philosophy, having a focus allows you to build your magical world upon that foundation!! And ~expand your universe~ etc. SHE'S BEING VERY SERIOUS ABOUT THIS in her own way.

Of course categorizing Daisy as an apprentice means that she WILL try to stay an enigma and won't open up on a personal human level with her very much, but she'll be very open with her fantasy lifestyle! Though she would test the waters with the more morbid stuff before actually going there. I... I guess we already had a conversation about decapitation.

What is Rose's impression of her own canon based on what she remembers so far... DOES SHE HAVE A RELATIVELY ACCURATE PICTURE YET or is it mostly still all messed up.

Her own impression of canon is wildly ridiculous because she is missing many key events! The beginning of her story is alright -- she knows her name, that her house disappears into a video game and eventually reappears somewhere else...but everything after that is kind of a weird blur that involves suicide and meeting her teenage mother and drunken orgies with Dave?? She's so confused.

Her canon is confusing and why did she agree to play this game in the first place. Her picture is so horribly inaccurate, mostly because her BIG TICKET PLOT ITEMS are still locked. Oops.

What does Beato think of Daisy's friendship with Battler...?

Beato... ddddddoesn't actually have a problem with Daisy and Battler being friends... sort of. It's not that she's inherently opposed to people making friends with Battler, or Peridot not instantly taking her side in irrational antagonism. But it's a very delicate balance between what she will tolerate and accept and what she will flip out over :|a Mostly you could say that it unnerves her looking at it from both sides! She wants to keep her canon and Peridot separate, and so she's afraid of them influencing each other and causing bleedover. She doesn't want Battler to make Daisy afraid of Beatrice or to like Battler more, and she doesn't want Daisy to tell Battler anything that he doesn't already know, because she's very control-freak about her relationship with Battler. (It happens all the time in canon though that other people will drop Battler hints about how he should act towards Beato, though, so it's not like. A LEGITIMATE PROBLEM, it just gives her hives.)

Also the instant Battler hits on Daisy, Beatrice will dismember him excruciatingly. So there's that.

If Daisy had the independent choice (in a game or similar) to save Peridot or Everyone Else, how would she take that?
