Daisy is so dere for Swift that it is not even funny, but in a different way than she deres for Tavros, mostly because she doesn't think of him in quite the same way. If anything Swift has now occupied the place that Kanaya held in canon -- intellectual debate parter, a person with whom moments of honesty are layered within veils of cynicism and wild speculation. And Rose really, really likes this! It's good, he's good, everything is good.

But she will write that thing down when she remembers how to write.

God, she has basically wormed her way into his inner circle, which I was not at all expecting. They had a very easy, light friendship based on mutual appreciation of verbal sparring and wordplay--Daisy was one of the first people he talked to who both clicked in with his persona and played along with him--and he appreciates that, but the nature of their relationship was not particularly . . . squishy. You are much more likely to get to Swift's center by being a dere idealist. Daisy didn't really engage his feelings! And then . . . Odile game??

They'd made overtures towards feelings briefly before, but when she came up to him in endgame and basically thanked him for voting for her he was just like " . . . oh." It was different! And so the specter of "oh I care about you and you care about me" was brought up without anyone having to actually say as much . . . he is aware of it, though, and it's shifted his mental categorization of her.

do either of your characters have wider thoughts on THE SYSTEM!!1! (Personae/games/teams/etc.)? If not, who is their favorite Persona?

Daisy doesn't, Arya does....? Well Daisy does, that's a lie. But her thoughts aren't coherent in one direction or another and she's never had a family or friends in person before that she remembers (well now she remembers the latter) so she is pretty content for the moment. She likes being here and likes the games and everything is okay. Eventually, I'm sure, something will change her opinion and she will go into full-on investigation mode. But for now she's content to chill. Her favorite Personae is Firebird, closely followed by Duckling. c:

ARYA IS VERY CURIOUS she hates not knowing the whole story, and frankly, all of the knights blindly following Beauty is very disturbing to her! Why are they there for Beauty, why do they serve her? What do they gain in return? Why is there another set of knights in the first place and why do they choose to go the ways that they do? Why do they play games, why is part of the world in ruin and who decided this was a good idea? Arya is already planning on questioning Mal about it later. Honestly a lot of her questions surround the Sterling/Onyx debacle, especially after the fight! She is so curious about everything, and as a character she is certainly the type that would go to Onyx without a second thought if pushed in that direction. However, she could also be a very devoted Sterling who would never think of it if pushed in THAT direction.

Mostly she wants to make up her mind. Arya is nothing if not a person that is very good at making up her mind and then sticking with it.
