VEN SHE LOVES YOU....in an entirely platonic manner--!! Not that she would ever admit it because like her dream said she is notoriously bad at feelings AND SHE ADMITS IT only to herself when she thinks no one else is around. She's not very proud of that, actually. But Ventus manages to take care of not only her but the entire team, she just wishes that he would take better care of himself!!

She will probably start going into subtle mother hen mode over Ven and his recklessness as a way of showing that she cares.

oh my god pretty much sums it up!! Meaning that she is not entirely sure what just happened -- but she feels proud of what she and everyone else managed to accomplish. She's a little sad about leaving Peridot cabin because it was the first home she had that she could remember, but she knows they'll still be together no matter what and so it's not bothering her as much as it might.

Jaina's thoughts on Rose?

SO COOL......

Actually she didn't know what to make of Lee when he first landed -- she was never close to much of oldsterling sans the Big Three but replacing people is a touchy business, and what's more, they keep being replaced by boys...but!! Her respect for him went up a lot in both the game and the fight with the crows, and she thinks that he is someone worth being friends with. She's not sure if she thinks of him entirely as a big brother, but she definitely respects him enough to become firm friends.

Ned is...hilariously frank, which Arya really likes as someone who is both really good at lying and really dependent on other people telling the truth. He's a very good influence on her (not that she thinks that lol burrito trees) and he entertains her which she adores. She would gladly do quests for Heliodor any time if he asked.

Arry is kind of overwhelmed by Mau! He is cool and tough and he knows how to steer a ship all in one. She hopes that she can kind of live up to that sort of thing one day by being just as cool and tough. Also she's going to stop wearing shoes because wow that is such a good idea.

LLOYD YOU ARE SO COOL--!! Actually for serious Arry thinks Lloyd is a neat dude, and definitely considers him chief among her many new, adopted brothers. When Mal asked them what they wanted to protect above all else, Arry picked Sterling for a reason, and a large part of that was oldsterling and their big bro senses. She thnks Lloyd is fascinating and also wonders why in the world he would get a tattoo he must be crazy also why does he wear a coat all the time???

Meaning they should hang out more, obviously.

Daisy thinks that Beatrice is super cool and mysterious and given that Rose Lalonde is a character that is all about the secrets she is totally on top of this learning to be just as mysterious as Beatrice business. There's something about Beato that she kind of wants to resemble -- which might be bad but might also be kind of good?

Actually out of all of Peridot Beato is the one that she admires the most, which is a bit scary, but there you go. The others all either intimidate her or seem distant in some way -- and Daisy thinks it might be because she replaced someone they were so close to, even though that was quite awhile ago. Also she is determined to be magical she will eke the magic out of her bones if it kills her. Which it might.

I suppose I should preface this by saying that Arry has never had Cass's type of strong in her women role models over the years, except for the stories. I don't actually know if you know Game of Thrones, but Arya's society is very medieval -- women of nobility are supposed to grow up to be polished ladies, marry lords of other houses, run holdfasts, and bear children. They aren't allowed to be knights or have swords or even shoot arrows -- well not not allowed but it is definitely looked down upon, especially in high families like the Starks.

Granted, Arry doesn't remember much of this. But what she does remember is that nothing was fair, even from the onset -- people attacked her in her first memory, she wasn't allowed to have a real sword in the second (even when she needed one), and in the third she wasn't allowed to fight for her family's honor all because she was a woman. SO TO SEE A GIRL BE COMPLETELY SELF-CONFIDENT AND BEAT EM UP is like meeting the women from the stories, the Warrior Queens and dragon riders.

Daisy would like for the cabins to be closer, for one thing! She wants Sterling to be close to both Peridot and Ruby specifically, but everyone in general. She also wants to get to know more Personae, and is trying to learn to write as quickly as possible so that she can keep notes and chronicle Peridot's records of games and such. Actually she's going to quest for a giant Peridot-bound book for the team, so that they can record things that they think future peridots might want to know!

She's also got a lot of quests that she's already planning: the Peribook, more yarn for the Peridot Afghan, her Needlewands, probably some things for Maine and Tavros (as well as a few other friends). She didn't really have time in the last realm but she's going to make time now, because these are things she needs.

What is Tavros the most sad to leave behind?

Arry is the cutest THE CUTEST, he adores her. He loves that she is scrappyfierce and he has no doubts of her ability to keep up because kids are tough and he goes around killing people with a twelve year old in canon, yo.

WHAT DOES SHE THINK OF BEING A KNIGHT

Despite Sterling's claims that they are NOT A REAL TEAM, all of the games that she's been in have been games where either Sterling has to work together as an individual unit, or games where knights are the only one, or games where Sterling didn't have to work with teams and they all worked as individuals. So she has kind of associated Sterling with 'team' anyway, even though everyone told her not to! She loves being a Knight; it means she gets to meet a lot of people and have a lot of brothers and do a lot of things that might have otherwise not been possible. She's also trying to think of really good quests so that she's prepared when someone comes to her. '-'

Right now she's having a bit of an "oh god i need to cling to all the big bros because they will leave" moment because she realized that her OWN brother disappears in 2/3 of her memories and where did he go will the sterlings leave too??

What does Kazuki think of Beauty?

SHE LOVES IT....Sterling has become her adopted family. And even though she has a few moments where she's like "well what would have happened if I was in Jasper or another team instead?" she doesn't regret that she was chosen to be a knight. Arry likes being in charge because it's kind of everything she hasn't seen from her limited memories. So she's like YEAH I'M A GIRL IN CHARGE YEAH and it's awesome everything is sunshine, she likes helping people. 'u'

Lloyd's thoughts on the Mass Sterling Changeover that seems to happen a lot?

You don't have to be I just think you might have a talent for imagining amazing cakes!!

Beatrice has taken Rose on as sort of a replacement Maria, actually; she really loves mentoring those younger than herself and fostering a magical spirit in them while they're still young and idealistic enough to appreciate it. So Rose has worked her way into being one of Beato's favorites, as much as Beato denies having favoritism within Peridot and tries not to show it. (I AM TRYING TO BE A MOTHER FIGURE OKAY!! I LOVE ALL OF MY CHILDREN! which she does.) And Rose seems to be taking a very eager interest in magic!! And this is why she is making half-jokes like encouraging Daisy along the path of the Confectionery Witch, because she wants her to find a "specialty" so that she can craft her tutoring to that end and foster Daisy's inherent abilities, as it were. By Beato's philosophy, having a focus allows you to build your magical world upon that foundation!! And ~expand your universe~ etc. SHE'S BEING VERY SERIOUS ABOUT THIS in her own way.

Of course categorizing Daisy as an apprentice means that she WILL try to stay an enigma and won't open up on a personal human level with her very much, but she'll be very open with her fantasy lifestyle! Though she would test the waters with the more morbid stuff before actually going there. I... I guess we already had a conversation about decapitation.

What is Rose's impression of her own canon based on what she remembers so far... DOES SHE HAVE A RELATIVELY ACCURATE PICTURE YET or is it mostly still all messed up.

But more seriously, he's saddest to leave behind Ruby's cabin because he started there! It's been his home since he fell into the ring! So there is some sadness because he's been there for so long and now he's going somewhere new. /o/ Oh well, he got a bunch of pictures so it's all cool.

What about Daisy?

Rose is one of Those Kids -- the ones that Jaina trusts to make good decisions and are incidentally highly cute so she wants to look out for them anyway. Smart, but squishy. Both someone who can hold a substantial conversation AND engage in a little good-natured ribbing with.

Never realized until the kraken fight that Rose packed some serious fightin' skills.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS, ARRY? ♥

Ned thinks Arya is adorable and is happy to hang around with her and bake for her. He's slightly awkward around her, because WHAT DO TEN YEAR OLD GIRL, but also he lives with teenage girls, so it's not as bad as it could be. He is constantly simultaneously trying to stifle and indulge thoroughly in his frequent urges to Dad at her. It is probably a good thing he hasn't the first clue how to Dad.

Mau likes Arry! She seems like a good, helpful kid, and he gets this sense that she is probably pretty resilient. Also he always gets kind of pinged by kids who seem very capable but do not have the vocabulary or societal expectations that most of Aather seems to, that is something he identifies with easily. Would talk to again!

What are your characters' views on the Personae?

God, she has basically wormed her way into his inner circle, which I was not at all expecting. They had a very easy, light friendship based on mutual appreciation of verbal sparring and wordplay--Daisy was one of the first people he talked to who both clicked in with his persona and played along with him--and he appreciates that, but the nature of their relationship was not particularly . . . squishy. You are much more likely to get to Swift's center by being a dere idealist. Daisy didn't really engage his feelings! And then . . . Odile game??

They'd made overtures towards feelings briefly before, but when she came up to him in endgame and basically thanked him for voting for her he was just like " . . . oh." It was different! And so the specter of "oh I care about you and you care about me" was brought up without anyone having to actually say as much . . . he is aware of it, though, and it's shifted his mental categorization of her.

do either of your characters have wider thoughts on THE SYSTEM!!1! (Personae/games/teams/etc.)? If not, who is their favorite Persona?

Her impressions are a lot like "WOW ECHO IS REALLY SERIOUS but also a lot of fun I don't understand how those two things go together?" She is extremely curious as to why Echo is Echo, since they have amazing conversations but Arry is so different from them.

Her own impression of canon is wildly ridiculous because she is missing many key events! The beginning of her story is alright -- she knows her name, that her house disappears into a video game and eventually reappears somewhere else...but everything after that is kind of a weird blur that involves suicide and meeting her teenage mother and drunken orgies with Dave?? She's so confused.

Her canon is confusing and why did she agree to play this game in the first place. Her picture is so horribly inaccurate, mostly because her BIG TICKET PLOT ITEMS are still locked. Oops.

What does Beato think of Daisy's friendship with Battler...?

Daisy is very ambivalent about the Personae! Mainly because she has seen her share of both bad and good games, and bad and good quests! But she is willing to give them a second chance, because Mal helped with the boat and Three helped them overcome the shadows, and ultimately they're there to help the Personae and if she's nice to them, maybe they can go home faster.

Arya loves them. Especially kitsune. She doesn't...really have any other opinion she thinks they're super cool!! She just wishes there were warrior queen ones.

Mau/Ned's thoughts on his team!

Rose thinks of Jaina at least in the "can make good decisions" way as well! Because so many of her friends make terrible decisions, Peridot included, so it's nice to see someone so reasonable. And she thinks the Force is crazy cool. She wants to know mooooooore if that makes sense.

Jaina's thoughts on the kraken!!

Daisy doesn't, Arya does....? Well Daisy does, that's a lie. But her thoughts aren't coherent in one direction or another and she's never had a family or friends in person before that she remembers (well now she remembers the latter) so she is pretty content for the moment. She likes being here and likes the games and everything is okay. Eventually, I'm sure, something will change her opinion and she will go into full-on investigation mode. But for now she's content to chill. Her favorite Personae is Firebird, closely followed by Duckling. c:

ARYA IS VERY CURIOUS she hates not knowing the whole story, and frankly, all of the knights blindly following Beauty is very disturbing to her! Why are they there for Beauty, why do they serve her? What do they gain in return? Why is there another set of knights in the first place and why do they choose to go the ways that they do? Why do they play games, why is part of the world in ruin and who decided this was a good idea? Arya is already planning on questioning Mal about it later. Honestly a lot of her questions surround the Sterling/Onyx debacle, especially after the fight! She is so curious about everything, and as a character she is certainly the type that would go to Onyx without a second thought if pushed in that direction. However, she could also be a very devoted Sterling who would never think of it if pushed in THAT direction.

Mostly she wants to make up her mind. Arya is nothing if not a person that is very good at making up her mind and then sticking with it.
Her favorite Personae is Kitsune.

Daisy is saddest to leave behind the Peridot cabin too, for much the same reasons. :( But she's also sad to leave behind the beach! It was one of her favorite parts of the realm.

Lee's still kind of adapting to Aather in general and he's meeting a lot of new people and he's just... not quite sure what to make of all this. He's kind of developing in to a character that wants to fix Aather because it's the right thing to do. BUT!!! With Arya, Lee sees a little girl that's not only helpful, but incredibly fierce and independent. He's enjoyed the few talks that they've had and, yeah, like you said, that fight they were in really BOLSTERED his opinion of her. He knows that she's still new-ish, too, so it was nice to see someone else get up and fight even if they were kind of unprepared for it! He definitely sees her as someone he could come to count on, if only because she did have his back then. So yes, he likes her!
